PHOENIX — Popular brunch spot Scramble will open its fourth Valley location Feb. 7 in Tempe.

The new restaurant will be located in The Collective development, also home to Alamo Drafthouse, near Baseline and Rural roads.

The 3,100-square-foot building includes a 1,000-square-foot dog-friendly patio where people can enjoy the locally sourced breakfast and lunch menu.

During its opening week, Scramble will ask patrons to round up their tabs at the register to benefit the Valley of the Sun United Way’s WeekEnd Hunger Backpacks program.

The program provides food to children who may not have access to it when they are out of school on the weekends.

Scramble co-owners Clay Moizo & Don Talbo have pledged to match the donations up to $2,500.

“Since launching Scramble in 2010, as local business owners, it’s always been one of our core principles to support our local community,” Moizo said in a press release.

“We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the grand opening of our fourth location here in the Valley than to support children in the Tempe community. We encourage everyone to stop by for breakfast or lunch and support this incredibly worthwhile cause.”

While some Valley breakfast joints have a reputation for needing reservations, Moizio said that isn’t the case for Scramble.

“While at most breakfast restaurants you might encounter an hour wait just for a table, our quick casual style of service eliminates the long wait,” he said.

“On our busiest days, don’t let the long lines fool you, from the door you are only minutes away from placing your order. Your entire dining experience can take 45 minutes to an hour instead of waiting that long just to sit down elsewhere.”

Scramble has two additional locations in Phoenix and one in Scottsdale.

We want to hear from you.
