This is not the kind of fan the Dallas Cowboys would likely brag about.

On Jan. 6, 2018 at about 1:30 a.m., a woman wearing a Cowboys jersey and ball cap walked into the Circle K at 59th Avenue and Indian School Road.

Phoenix police Det. Mike Fischer says, “She walked up to the counter area where the employee was and she pulled out a knife.”

The clerk did exactly what you’re supposed to do: Give up the money. No one was hurt.

Next, there’s a good reason police are warning you about buying items from people selling them for much less than they’re worth.

Chances are, the stuff was stolen from a one of the many home improvement stores in the Valley.

“What a lot of these suspects do,” says Fischer, “they go in and steal items them turn around and resell them.”

That’s exactly what happened when our suspect went to the Lowe’s at 19th Avenue and Baseline Road on Dec. 2, 2017 — and walked out with more than $1,000 worth of stuff.

Fisher says, “He took some paint sprayers, drills, some batteries.  He didn’t attempt to pay at all, he just walked out of the store with the items.”
