PHOENIX — A 39-year old male was killed early Sunday morning after his vehicle swerved and collided with another vehicle at the 5100 block of West McDowell Road, according to Phoenix Police.
Saturino Santoyo was pronounced dead at the scene after his eastbound traveling Dodge Avenger crossed the center line and collided with a Chevrolet Camaro traveling the opposite direction at around 3 a.m.
One of the passengers in the Camaro, a 33-year-old male, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injures. The other passenger suffered minor injuries.
Authorities said impairment appears to be a factor in the collision and that the investigation is ongoing.
