Gilbert’s Power Ranch named nation’s most kid-friendly neighborhood

PHOENIX — Gilbert’s Power Ranch neighborhood was named the most kid-friendly in the country by a popular real estate website.
Trulia said in its ranking based on user ratings that Power Ranch “was designed for families, with safe streets, community pools, soccer fields, and parks.”
The neighborhood is located between Pecos and Queen Creek roads, and Power Road and a section of the Roosevelt Canal.
According to Trulia, homes for sale in the neighborhood cost between $258,000 and $640,000.

The website named North Gateway as Phoenix’s most kid-friendly neighborhood.
Also for Phoenix, Paradise Valley was named the friendliest neighborhood, Ahwatukee Foothills was named the dog-friendliest and Desert View was said to have the most holiday spirit.
