Wreck, spilled nails shut down Interstate 17 in Phoenix

PHOENIX — A truck crashed and spilled nails on a Phoenix freeway, shutting down a ramp Wednesday during the morning commute.
The wreck on northbound Interstate 17 closed the road at Northern Avenue around 6:45 a.m.
A rollover crash then blocked part of the road near Bethany Road.
No other details were immediately available.
The freeway reopened around 8:30 a.m., but drivers were told to expect “significant delays.”
