Marshall Trimble is an American author, singer, and Arizona’s official state historian.
Gary L. Stuart is a recovering attorney and author a of a new book on Ernest McFarland, who was a U.S. senator (and Majority Leader), governor and Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court.
Most anyone familiar with Arizona history, if asked to name the most seminal historical figures would inevitably place several names at the top of the list:

- • Ernest McFarland
- • Barry Goldwater
- • Stuart and Mo Udall
Trimble and Stuart join the Think Tank this week to discuss these and other seminal figures in Arizona history.
The Think Tank airs on KTAR News 92.3 FM on Sunday at 1-2 p.m. and repeats at 9-10 p.m.
