PHOENIX — An Anthem native and former University of Arizona cheerleader saw her business transformed on Sunday on national TV.
Megan Johnson and her husband, Joe, received a $700,000 backing for their nutrition company from former Major League Baseball star Alex Rodriguez and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban on the ABC show “Shark Tank.”
The deal gave Rodriguez and Cuban a 40 percent stake in the company, named VADE Nutrition.
