PHOENIX – Pull on your favorite Christmas sweater if you’re going out early over Thanksgiving weekend in the Phoenix area, but you’ll probably end up tying it around your waist as the day unwinds.
The holiday forecast calls for pleasant, mild days bookended by chilly mornings and evenings, with only a minuscule chance for rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Thanksgiving Day is looking close to perfect across the area, with highs in the 70s in the deserts, no rain, and a few breezes in the afternoon. Enjoy! #azwx #cawx pic.twitter.com/Q4ko5GkzuH

After an overnight low of 54 degrees, expect partly cloudy conditions on Thanksgiving Day with a high of 72 and light winds in the afternoon – perfect weather for a football game in the park or a hike before a big meal on the patio.
Other than a 5 percent chance Thursday, no rain is expected at least through Tuesday.
The weather conditions are looking pretty good the rest of the week into next week. There will be a cooling trend and some thick high clouds at times but the deserts stay dry. Check out https://t.co/pR9aE0Ws2v to get forecast info for anywhere in the country. #azwx #cawx pic.twitter.com/auCNF7COcc
