PHOENIX – Jake’s Unlimited in Mesa was named the world’s top family entertainment center by a global industry trade association.
The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions honored Jake’s Unlimited during its 2018 Brass Ring Awards presentation last week in Orlando, Florida.
Every year, the IAAP recognizes the best amusement parks, water parks, zoos, aquariums, museums, family entertainment centers and suppliers in a variety of categories.
Jake’s was the only Arizona-based business to win an award this year. Other winners included the likes of Disney parks, Six Flags and SeaWorld.
Last year, the award for top family entertainment center went to a dinosaur park in Belarus.
According to a press release from Jake’s, the Brass Ring Awards are “the most prestigious professional honors awarded within the industry.”
“We look forward to continuing to provide our guests with a unique, first-class entertainment experience each and every visit,” Jeremy Hoyum, Jake’s manager of operations, said in the release.
Jake’s Unlimited, located at Baseline and Gilbert roads, offers arcade games, rides, laser tag, bowling and mini-bowling, plus dining and adult beverage options.
It was formerly known as Amazing Jake’s until a renovation and rebranding last year.
