There is a caravan of Central American migrants who are making their way to our southern border.
It is nearly 1,000 miles from the closest American border and twice that to the nearest Arizona border.
We heard a lot about these people — at least until the polls closed last week.
- What is the difference between a migrant and a refugee? How are they treated differently by the American legal system?
- What are the foreign policy implications? How are we viewed throughout the world?
- What benefits do refugees get? Are these different for refugees versus migrants?
This week, we are joined by
• J’lein Liese, a conflict resolution expert
• Lisa Benson, a counterterrorism expert
• Jany Deng, a former refugee
