Grab the popcorn: ‘Toy Story 4’ teaser trailer drops ahead of June premiere

PHOENIX — The beloved Disney-Pixar series “Toy Story” will return to the big screen next year, it was announced this week.
Yes, that’s right, “Toy Story 4” will premiere on June 21.

A teaser trailer showing all of the series’ classic characters — from Sheriff Woody to Buzz Lightyear to Jessie — was published on Monday.

But that was not all: Some new characters also made their way into the trailer, including Forky, who was voiced by Tony Hale.
Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Annie Potts will reprise their characters, while Blake Clark and Kristen Schaal will return as Slinky and Trixie from “Toy Story 3.”

The rest of the cast members from the previous films — with the exception of Don Rickles, who died of kidney failure in 2017 — will return to voice their characters.
It will be the first “Toy Story” movie since the third film in the series was released in 2010.
