PHOENIX — Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam and Incubus will headline the 2019 Innings Festival in Tempe, it was announced Tuesday.

Other big names on the bill include Sheryl Crow, Mesa’s own Jimmy Eat World, Liz Phair, Grouplove and Blues Traveler.

The festival runs March 2-3 at Tempe Beach Park and Arts Park. Tickets go on sale Tuesday at noon at the festival’s website.

The Innings Festival is a celebration for music lovers and baseball fans who come to Arizona to enjoy Cactus League spring training baseball.

Along with the music performers, former MLB players Roger Clemens, Jake Peavy, Sean Casey, Huston Street and Eric Byrnes are scheduled to make appearances.

Eighteen artists have been booked for the three stages set up for the festival, alongside food vendors from around the southwest and baseball activities set up around the premises, including a batting cage and hardest pitch station.

This will be the second annual Innings Festival. In 2018, the festival lasted for three days with headliners Queens of the Stone Age, Avett Brothers and Chris Stapleton.

Tickets include general admission, VIP and platinum packages with prices ranging from $99 for a one-day general admission ticket to $780 for a two-day platinum ticket.

The Innings Festival will be competing directly against the Valley’s only other active major music festival.

Phoenix’s McDowell Mountain Music Festival (M3F) announced its date and lineup before Innings, and many music fans expressed their displeasure on the Tempe event’s social media accounts.

M3F is a three-day charity event, March 1-3, at Hance Park with Odesza and Empire of the Sun getting top billing.

A full list of Innings Festival performers can be found in the slideshow below.
