Monica Hernandez with the city of Phoenix said Cactus Road and 35th Avenue reopened Tuesday after crews finished repairing a storm drain.
The intersection was initially closed on Oct. 2 after rain from Tropical Depression Rosa moved through the Valley.

More than 2.3 inches of rain had fallen that day, making it the wettest October day on record and the eighth-wettest day ever.
Hernandez said crews will complete final touches, but did not have a specific date or time when that would take place.
The latest information about emergency closures can be found on the city’s website.
