PHOENIX — The grand opening of a multi-use entertainment venue and restaurant in Phoenix will bring home a popular comic and Arizona native next month.
David Spade will perform when Copper Blues Live opens at Desert Ridge Marketplace on Nov. 23. Tickets will go on sale at 8 a.m. on Oct. 26.
Copper Blues Live, also known as CB Live, will separate the entertainment venue and restaurant with a retractable, soundproof wall.
The full-service restaurant will include a bar that will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. each day. Guests can also dine with a 270-degree view of the stage, which will feature nightly entertainment from local bands, acoustic acts and DJs.
The entertainment venue could be transformed from a traditional rowed theater, to a comedy club set up, to a standing concert space.
Some of the upcoming acts will include Frank Caliendo on Dec. 8, Marlon Wayans on Dec. 9 and Andrew Dice Clay on Dec. 15.
Desert Ridge Marketplace will host a hiring fair from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Saturday to next Wednesday for all front and back-of-house positions.
