Rosy’s Pharmacy was hit by two separate robbers on consecutive days: Sept. 16-17, 2013.
Phoenix Police Sgt. Darren Burch said the first was at about 4:45 p.m. on a Monday.
“The suspect jumped over the counter as he’s holding a gun in his left hand,” he said.
“That might be significant. He may be left-handed. He grabs the oxycodone then takes off in a white SUV.”
The second was on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
“The suspect enters the pharmacy and pretends to be a customer,” Burch said.
“In a soft voice, he demands oxycodone and threatens the clerk.”
While the clerk went back to get it, the robber got impatient, grabbed some over-the-counter meds and fled.
There’s a $2,500 reward in this case.
Our next case takes us to 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road. It was Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at about 7 a.m.
A bicyclist passes a bus stop where a guy waiting for the bus reaches out and pushes him over, knocking him to the ground.
“The bicyclist was pretty severely injured,” Burch said.
“He had a skull fracture and brain bleeding and was in the hospital for several days.”
The suspect and a woman he was with were both caught on the bus camera.
