Man shot and killed in Laveen Village, suspect on the loose

PHOENIX — An unknown suspect is on the loose after allegedly entering a home shooting and killing a male victim.
A witness to the incident told officers she was with the male, later identified as 22-year-old Ivan Brewster, near the corner of 56th Drive and Baseline Road in Laveen Village when the suspect came right through the front door.
After shooting Brewster in the living room of the house, the male suspect fled the area and has not been found or identified.
An investigation was ongoing while the shooter remains on the loose.
