PHOENIX — Eat up! Foodies across Arizona can rejoice, as the fall Arizona Restaurant Week will kick off on Friday.

For the next 10 days, some of the finest restaurants in the state will offer food lovers the opportunity to enjoy a prix-fixe dinner for $33 or $44 per person and, in some cases, per couple.

The food varies from Scandinavian to Mediterranean to a good, old-fashioned steakhouse.

There will be something for everyone, even those with dietary restrictions such as gluten free or vegetarian.

And if you need something to wash down the food with, no worries: Certain restaurants offer a drink with the meal promotion.

For those who want to take part, you better start planning. While tickets are not required, reservations are highly recommended to ensure that you can eat to your heart’s desire.

Some of the restaurants with the best deals, according to ABC15 Arizona, include:

Charr: An appetizer, two entrees and a dessert for $33. (Normally up to $48)

Citizen Public House: An appetizer, entree and dessert for $33. (Normally up to $53)

Fleming’s: An appetizer, entrée, side and dessert for $44. But read the fine print: The bigger steak will cost you $10 more.

The bi-annual event already took place once this year: The spring Arizona Restaurant Week was held from May 18 to 27.

The goal of the event? “To position Arizona as one of the top culinary destinations in the nation by increasing awareness of the many dining opportunities available in the state, as well as stimulating business and revenue for restaurants throughout Arizona,” according to its website.

So sit back, relax and get ready to wine and dine yourself for 10 days straight. (Just don’t forget to bring the Tupperware!)

And if you need a ride home, no worries: Lyft is offering $20 in ride credit to new users with the code “EATARW” or 20 percent off two rides for existing users with the code “arwfall18.”

You can find the restaurants that will be participating in Arizona Restaurant Week below. Restaurants across the state, from as far north as Cave Creek, to as far south as Tucson, will participate.

We want to hear from you.
