PHOENIX — Jack Steinman, a 76-year-old veteran, is asking for the return of his beloved service dog Lady Bug.
According to ABC15 Arizona, Steinman entered the Auto Zone near 57th Avenue and Camelback Road in Glendale on Monday night, leaving his car running with Lady Bug inside to keep her cool.
When he returned, the car and dog were gone.
Steinman called Lady Bug his best friend and said he hasn’t been able to sleep since she was taken.
“If she comes back, I guarantee you she will never leave my side,” Steinman told ABC15 Arizona. “I don’t care if I go to the ends of the Earth.”
