Puerto Rico to improve ferry service to islands

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) – Officials in Puerto Rico say tourists and residents will soon see an improvement in ferry service to the popular neighboring islands of Vieques and Culebra.
Sen. Lornna Soto said Tuesday that the U.S. territory’s government is renting a fifth ferry to increase the number of daily trips between the islands from five to eight.
