Loop 202 eastbound in Tempe reopened after to 2-vehicle rollover

PHOENIX — A two-vehicle rollover resulted in the closing of the Loop 202 eastbound in Tempe at Van Buren Street.
An adult male was transported to a local trauma facility, the Phoenix Fire Department said.
Two other people were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries.
Police is investigating the cause of the accident.
The area was reopened around 7:45 p.m.

Eastbound traffic was diverted to State Route 143, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
ADOT said to exit at Washington, drive east to Priest and then re-enter the freeway.
Westbound traffic was unaffected by the accident.
