Somebody learned a hard lesson about leaving their purse in their car.

Police are looking for two women who took a credit card stolen from a purse into the Target at 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road on the morning of July 25.

“They loaded a bunch of items into the cart,” says Phoenix Police Sgt. Jamie Rothschild.

“Then they took that cart full of items to the self-serve lane. They didn’t go to where there was a checker working.”

Once they found out the stolen card would work, they bought even more merchandise. They got out of there with more than $500 worth of stuff — but not before store cameras got really good pictures of the pair.

Here is more information on that case.

Next, an armed robber passes up the sweets — for cold hard cash.

Sgt. Rothschild says: “Friday, June 22, 2018, at about 9:30 in the morning, our suspect went into Sunrise Donuts at 35th Avenue and Baseline.”

He pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. Then, he took the cash and headed across the street where a getaway driver was waiting.

“We’re looking for a gold Chevy Silverado,” Rothschild says. “It had a regular cab with a gold bed cover and chrome wheels.”

The gunman got into the passenger side and the truck sped away. There are good pictures of this guy, too.

Here is more information on that case.
