PHOENIX — An 11-year-old child who was last seen in Glendale on Tuesday morning has been located, the Glendale Police Department said.
According to a Thursday tweet, Jonathan Soza, who also goes by the name Serina, was “located and returned safely.”
Serina was last seen leaving a group home in the area of 72nd Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
They were suspected to be headed to the Gila River Reservation in an attempt to reach family.
Officer Tiffany Smith with the Glendale Police Department told KTAR News 92.3 FM in an email that Serina was located in Laveen in good health after reaching out to a family friend.
They are now in the custody of a case manager, their father and the Coolidge Police Department.
