PHOENIX — Phoenix police are continuing to search for a 19-year-old woman who has been missing since the start of the month.
Kiera Bergman was last seen at her residence near 51st Ave. and Thunderbird Road on Aug. 4, according to Phoenix Police Department spokesman Sgt. Vince Lewis.
Lewis called the circumstances around Bergman’s disappearance “suspicious.”
According to ABC15, Bergman’s ex-boyfriend, 23-year-old Jon Clark, was being questioned in relation to Bergman’s disappearance on Friday when police found other peoples’ personal identifications in his vehicle.
They then arrested him for identity theft and he was booked into jail for 22 counts of aggravated identity theft and two counts of forgery.
Police have given no indication that this arrest connects Clark to Bergman’s missing person’s case.
Bergman is 5-foot-3 and weighs 145 pounds. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, she also has a tattoo on her left thigh.
