PHOENIX — Authorities said a man found lying in a Phoenix street early Friday died in a hospital, apparently the victim of a hit-and-run.
A Phoenix police spokesman identified man as 29-year-old Micah Badoni.
He was discovered at the intersection of McDowell Road and 40th Street and around 3:30 a.m. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition from injuries consistent with having been hit by a vehicle.
Investigators believe Badoni was crossing McDowell at or near the crosswalk when he was hit by an unknown vehicle, which may have been traveling westbound on McDowell.
Anybody with information about the vehicle or the incident was asked to call the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6151.
