PHOENIX — Grammy-winning rapper Pitbull will return to Phoenix in the fall with a stop at the Arizona State Fair, it was announced Monday.
Tickets for the Oct. 17 concert will go on sale Friday.
The 37-year-old Miami-born entertainer, whose real name is Armando Perez, was in the Valley in June 2017 with Enrique Iglesias. They performed at Talking Stick Resort Arena in downtown Phoenix.
GoBankingRates reported the rapper achieved a milestone on his 35th birthday — his net worth hit $65 million.
The 2018 fair runs Oct. 5-28 at the fairgrounds at 19th Avenue and McDowell Road, with concerts each night at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
General admission concert series seating is free with admission to the fair, but tickets for reserved seats cost an additional fee.
The fair series kicks off Oct. 5 with country singer Gary Allan.
Fair organizers have been releasing the names of acts booked one by one, starting in late May. “Sesame Street Live! C is for Celebration” closes out the roster.
