PHOENIX — An Amber Alert has been canceled for a Lake Havasu girl after authorities located her Friday night.

The Lake Havasu Police Department canceled the alert after Joanne McLaskey, 1, was found safe.

The suspect, 55-year-old Patrick Colley, was in the Covina Police Department’s custody in California.

McLaskey was taken from her home Friday by Colley in a stolen silver 2007 Hummer H3 with Arizona licence plate CDJ0796, according to authorities.

The suspect was staying at the home before taking the child without her family’s permission.

He was last seen heading toward California.

McLaskey has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a diaper. She is approximately two feet tall and weighs 30 pounds. She also has a scar on her right knee.

Colley was last seen wearing a gray shirt with red bandannas hanging from both sides. He is 6-foot-2 and weighs 215 pounds. He has grey hair, blue eyes and is missing his front teeth. He also has a handlebar mustache.

Authorities believed he may have been armed with a pocket knife.
