PHOENIX — Fan of Italian cuisine?
If you live in Goodyear, get ready for more.
Locally-based Babbo Italian Eatery announced its plans for its ninth Phoenix location for early 2019 on Thursday.
“We opened our first Babbo Italian Eatery in the West Valley more than 15 years ago,” owner Ken Pollack said. “We are excited to bring another dining option to this extremely busy part of the metro area.”
The new 6,000-square-foot location, designed by architect Jose Martinez at Form Design Studio, will seat 236 guests and features a private dining room for business meetings or family outings.
The Italian eatery has eight other locations in Glendale, Queen Creek, Cave Creek, Scottsdale, Mesa, Surprise, Phoenix and Tempe. It first opened its doors in 2002 in Glendale.
“We are growing but this is a family-run restaurant,” Pollack said. “We take great pride in each and every guest who walks through our doors. Everyone here is family.”
The Goodyear restaurant will be located at the southwest corner of Pebble Creek Parkway and McDowell Road.
