Authorities looking for Glendale bank robbery suspect

PHOENIX — The Glendale Police Department and the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force are looking for a man linked to a Glendale bank robbery on Friday.
Around 12:30 p.m., a white male, believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, robbed a Desert Financial Credit Union at 5690 W. Thunderbird Road.
The suspect presented a teller with a demand note, leaving the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
No one was injured during the robbery.
The man was wearing prescription glasses, a fedora-style hat and a suit and tie.
The investigation is ongoing.
Both the FBI and Glendale police asked if anyone has any information regarding the bank robbery and the suspect involved to contact the FBI at 623-466-1999, Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
