Interstate 10 from Arizona to New Mexico closed due to dust storm

PHOENIX — Arizonans traveling to New Mexico on Sunday will have to consider a different route.
The Interstate 10 was closed at the New Mexico state line due to a dust storm, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
NMDOT has closed I-10 EB/WB just east of the Arizona state line at MP 10 for blowing dust.

The highway was closed from milepost 0 to 20.
The eastbound I-10 was also closed from mileposts 352 and 391 due to the storm.

Both portions of the highway reopened around 5 p.m. Sunday.
Drivers could have used the US 191 northbound to US 70 eastbound to reach Lordsburg, New Mexico.
