Freeway reopened after crash closed I-10 westbound in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Interstate 10 westbound at the Interstate 17 split has reopened after being closed for several hours Monday because of a rollover crash.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a commercial vehicle hauling hay rolled onto its side after the driver lost control.
The driver had minor injuries.
The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m., and it was nearly 1:30 p.m. before traffic was allowed through again.
All westbound freeway traffic was detoured to I-17 northbound during the closure.
The closure impacted a main route into downtown Phoenix from the east.
