You can’t quantify how much you love a father.

That is, unless you run the Up4Robotics site, which did exactly that.

To see which state spoils its dads the most, Up4Robotics used Google search data of people searing inquiries such as Father’s Day ideas, gifts, and “what to buy for Father’s Day.”

Arizona came in at No. 13.

“We found that the Southwest region of the U.S. in particular really loves to celebrate dads—with Utah (#7), Colorado (#10), California (#11), Arizona (#13), and Nevada (#18) all coming in at the top of the list,” the article said.

High praise indeed.

Number one was Texas. They go big for their dads there.

New York came in at No. 49 and South Carolina was No. 50.

Up4Robotics noted an interesting trend: States that have a cardinal direction in their name ranked opposite of their counterpart.

While South Carolina was in last place, North Carolina was a respectful tenth.

North Dakota came in at No. 4, but South Dakota was No. 44. Virginia was near the top at No. 6, but West Virginia was ranked near the bottom at No. 46.

But Arizonans can take pride in the fact that we love our dads.

Well, we love them the thirteenth-most in the United States.

We want to hear from you.
