One dead after rollover crash on Loop 101 in Phoenix; lanes reopened

PHOENIX — One person has died in a rollover crash on the eastbound Loop 101 at 19th Avenue in Phoenix on Friday, the Arizona Department of Public Safety announced.
Sgt. Bart Graves told KTAR News 92.3 FM that the crash occurred around 2 p.m. when a Ford Taurus went across all lanes of traffic before overturning in the HOV lane.

The victim, who was not identified but was described as a male in his mid-20s, was ejected from the vehicle after the crash. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
All the lanes were blocked, but were cleared around 5 p.m.
