PHOENIX — The successful Hornacek’s House of Golf in Scottsdale is expanding to a new location in Chandler and is expected to open in October.

Owner John Hornacek will be taking over an 18,000-square-foot space, which used to serve as a grocery store and health club, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

Located on the corner of Alma School and Chandler Heights Roads, Hornacek plans to fill the golf retail store with four golf simulators.

He is also looking for a restaurateur to partner with to create a dining concept or small bar in the space.

The retail store carries as many American brand and Valley-based golf company products as possible, along with products from major golf companies. Hornacek’s House of Golf has set itself apart from other golf retailers in old fashioned ways.

“We carry all the same stuff,” Hornacek said. “It comes down to the relationships and how we treat the customers.”

Hornacek is also hoping that the new store will attract business and partnerships from local high schools and youth golf teams.

We want to hear from you.
