PHOENIX — The largest city in Arizona just added another notch to its credential belt by making Airbnb’s list of top 10 most hospitable cities.
Phoenix comes in fifth on the list, ahead of three cities from the state of Texas and behind Asheville, North Carolina, which comes in at No. 1.
The rankings, as reported by the Phoenix Business Journal, were determined in order by the cities that had the highest percentage of five-star reviews on the Airbnb website.
Airbnb is a San Francisco-based home-sharing company that allows home owners to lend their living space to travelers who don’t want to stay at hotels.
Charleston, South Carolina and Denver, Colorado also came in behind Phoenix in the rankings. The other cities ahead of Phoenix were Nashville, St. Louis, and Portland.
