Tempe neighbors’ argument leads to threat with gun

PHOENIX — An armed man accused of threatening a neighbor was taken into custody by Tempe police after briefly barricading himself in an apartment early Monday morning.
Authorities said the unidentified man and someone else in an apartment complex near Loop 101 and Broadway Road had been arguing around 6 a.m.
The suspect eventually went back to his apartment and shut himself in before police managed to convince him to give himself up.
No other details were immediately available.
