Mesa police searching for missing endangered man

PHOENIX — The Mesa Police Department is looking for missing 20-year-old Preston Anderson, who was last seen April 20 around 2 a.m., according to authorities.

He suffers from severe depression and chemical dependency and his family is concerned for his well-being.

Anderson was last seen in the area of 1500 South Dobson Road. He was wearing a maroon sweatshirt, light blue jeans, possibly white Van’s shoes and a tan headband. He has a tattoo on the left side of his chest with the Bible verse John 3:16. The right side of his chest has a tattoo of three crosses. He also has pierced ears with gold hoops.

The 20-year-old is a 180-pound, 6-foot-3 white male and is believed to be on foot in Mesa or a neighboring city.
