Glendale police has located missing 22-year-old man

PHOENIX – On Sunday night, the Glendale Police Department located the missing 22-year-old man who suffers from cerebral palsy and is non-verbal.

They had been searching since about 6 a.m. and had asked the public for help.

According to a release, Paul Salcido was reported missing by his mother who woke up around 6 a.m. to find Salcido not in his room.

Due to his medical and mental health conditions, Salcido functions as a 9 or 10-year-old and is considered endangered.

Salcido is believed to have gone missing at 10 p.m. when he was last seen at his home near the intersection of 51st and Glendale avenues.

He is described as 5-foot-3 inches tall and 170 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, black, gray and white shorts, gray socks, and black shoes.

According to police, he also goes by the name “Junior” and carries a black backpack with him wherever he goes.
