PHOENIX — A popular Chicago steakhouse will reportedly expand at Scottsdale Waterfront property, likely in the coming months.
Maple & Ash, named one of the best steakhouses in the country by Thrillist, was expected to officially announce the opening, and more details on the restaurant, in the upcoming weeks.
The restaurant reportedly signed a lease with the property in February. It will likely replace the space formerly occupied by the Wildfish Seafood Grille, said the Phoenix Business Journal.
Maple & Ash’s menu featured a wide variety of steak and seafood options. Some of the menu items crossed the $100 mark, including the 40-ounce, $175 Eisenhower steak. And if you don’t feel like making a decision on the menu, you can let the staff choose for you with the $145 option elegantly named, “I don’t give a [expletive].”
The menu was created by two-star Michelin chef and executive restaurant chef, Danny Grant.
Grant has ties with the area. He graduated from a Scottsdale high school and worked on a number of restaurants closeby, including Elements Restaurant at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort.
It is owned by David Pisor and Jim Lasky.
Other restaurants in the area include Culinary Dropout, Sauce Pizza and Wine and P.F. Chang’s.
