PHOENIX — Glendale Police Sgt. Robert Livingston, who was involved in a March 2 shooting, has been re-admitted to a local Valley hospital Friday, according to the Glendale Police Department.
“Regrettably, after spending nearly a week at home recovering with daily medical treatment, he was re-admitted into a local Valley hospital and will be there for an unknown amount of time,” a Twitter post from Glendale police read.
“We continue to thank you for your support and the family appreciates everyone’s positiveness and well wishes. He is unable to receive visitors and will be focusing on becoming well enough to return home.”
Livingston, who goes by Kent, was seriously injured in a March 2 shooting. He was released from the hospital this past weekend after being treated for two weeks, primarily in the ICU.
The suspect, 44-year-old Stephen Hudak, was killed by officers after a short search.
The Glendale Police Department held a car wash fundraiser to raise money for Livingston and his family on Saturday.
