PHOENIX — After a long St. Patrick’s night, a safe ride home is a pot of gold at the end of the green-died rainbow.
Triple-A is offering its “Tipsy Tow” service for those whose transportation plans fall through.
“We encourage Arizonans to include a safe ride home in their plans for their evening,” Triple-A spokesperson Michelle Donati said. “But if your luck runs out with your safe ride home, you can rely on Triple-A’s Tipsy Tow to help get you home safely.”
Members and non-members alike can request rides from the Triple-A service for free, up to 10 miles. Drivers will take the person back home or an out-of-town visitor to a hotel.
To request a ride, call 1-800-AAA-HELP and ask for a “Tipsy Tow.” The caller will be asked to provide the driver’s name, address, phone number and vehicle location.
Roadside assistance will not be offered to non-members, but members can continue to receive usual benefits in addition to Tipsy Tow.
The service will be offered from 6 p.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday.
