PHOENIX — Whether you’re wanting to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in festive style or are looking for something more laid back, there is a lot to do for the weekend.

Take a break, get out and enjoy the beautiful spring weather before it’s gone.

It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for something for your whole family to enjoy together or something aimed more toward adults, the Valley is offering everyone a chance to have some fun this weekend:

2019 St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Faire

If you’re looking to get into the festive mood, check out the parade and faire that will be complete with Irish music, stepdancing, and bagpipers. Food and beverages, arts and crafts and a children’s area ensure that the event will be fun for the whole family. Free parking is available with the purchase of a fair ticket.

Saturday: Parade 10 a.m., Fair 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Kiss Me I’m Irish Run

Chances are you’re probably going to be eating or drinking on St. Patrick’s Day. If you feel like you need to burn off some of those incoming calories, be sure to register for the 4K walk/run, 8K walk/run, half marathon or the kilt run.

Friday: Kilt race starts at 6 p.m., Saturday: Races start at 7 a.m.

Scottsdale Shamrock Bar Crawl

If you want to celebrate the holiday in true Irish fashion, with a beer in hand, what better way than stopping by as many bars as possible? The event will be passing through bars like Bevvy, Wasted Grain, Whiskey Row and much more as participants make their way through Old Town Scottsdale.

Saturday: 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.

Irish Fountain Fest

The iconic Fountain Hills geyser will turn green this holiday weekend as the town celebrates their Fountain Fest. The fountain will erupt green at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. with bagpipers, Celtic bands and other festive treats in between. Food trucks and a beer garden will be on site.

Saturday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Arizona Diamondbacks spring training

If you want to relax with a cold beer this St. Patrick’s Day weekend, you can check out some of the D-Backs prospects at the same time. The D-Backs are playing the Chicago Cubs on Saturday and Chicago White Sox on Sunday.

Saturday and Sunday: 1:10 p.m.

Pot of Gold Music Festival

Ozuna, Lil’ Wayne and Post Malone will help you celebrate the St. Paddy’s Day weekend as they headline the annual music festival that takes place in Rawhide. Food and beverages — yes, even beer — will be available at the event and art merchandise will be up for sale as well.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday: Noon to midnight

We want to hear from you.
