PHOENIX — For the first time since 2013, Josh Groban’s tour will take him through the Valley, it was announced Monday.
On Friday, Oct. 26, the multi-platinum award-winning singer will play at Talking Stick Resort Arena with Idina Menzel. This will be the fifth stop of Josh Groban: Bridges Tour.
“I can’t wait to get back on the road and play old and new songs for my fans,” Groban said in a press release. “It’s the thing I most look forward to. Creating a show each tour that gives everyone there, including me, an experience they want to hold onto.”
Menzel, best known for playing Maureen Johnson in “Rent” and Elsa in “Frozen,” became the first person with a Billboard Top 10 hit and a Tony Award for acting in 2014.
Citi cardmembers will have access to pre-sale tickets between 10 a.m. Tuesday through 10 a.m. Thursday. The general public can buy tickets beginning Friday at 10 a.m. On Ticketmaster, prices ranged from $44.75 to $194.75, plus additional fees.
Each purchase online includes a CD or digital copy of Groban’s new album, which was scheduled to be released in the fall.
The Bridges Tour is only one month long and will hit 18 cities.
For fans who can’t make it to the Phoenix show on Oct. 26, the relatively close shows are in Inglewood, California on Oct. 27, Salt Lake City on Oct. 30 and Denver on Oct. 31.
