PHOENIX — Police were searching for two people who were seen placing a skimmer — a device designed to steal credit card information — on a gas station ATM in Phoenix.
Video showed the pair walking into a Circle K near Seventh Street and Buckeye Road about 6:25 p.m. on Nov. 8.
The two walked through the store and appeared to pretend to use the machine while the woman allegedly installed the device. It took only seconds for it to be put in place.
The pair then left the convenience store.
The device was discovered and removed.
The first suspect in the case is a female between 25 and 35 years old. She stood 5-foot-4, weighed about 200 pounds and had long black hair. She was wearing a black T-shirt and and long skirt.
The second suspect is a male in the same age range. He stood about 5-foot-8 and weighed about 220 pounds. He was wearing a gray T-shirt, black shorts and a baseball cap.
Anyone with information on the suspects was asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
