Six people, including two children, injured in Queen Creek crash

PHOENIX — Six people were injured, including two children, after two vehicles crashed at an intersection in Queen Creek on Monday night.
Adella Laredo-Tarango, a spokeswoman with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, told KTAR News 92.3 FM that four of the victims suffered serious injuries, while one person sustained life-threatening injuries.
The two children were among those who suffered serious injuries.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Rittenhouse and Combs roads in Queen Creek, Laredo-Tarango said. The cause of the accident is unknown.
Laredo-Tarango said the intersection will be closed for a few hours as the sheriff’s office investigates.
