PHOENIX — Luxury Auto Collection, a firm in Arizona, is having a hard time selling retired boxer Floyd Mayweather’s pricey Bugatti.

With this year’s Barrett-Jackson car auction already in the books, a buyer for the exotic car still remains to be seen.

The 2011 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport has been on the market since January 2017 when it made its way to the Barrett-Jackson auto show. It was originally priced at $2.45 million before it was dropped down to its current price of $2.29 million. The car had a $2 million reserve price, but ended up being $100,000 short at the auction.

In the latest edition of Highline Motors Magazine, Mayweather took out an ad, showing off the car and providing some details on it.

It is described as one of the 58 Veyron Grand Sports in existence and includes parking assist and a removable hardtop. It has 1,650 miles and even comes with full service history.

The sports car can go 0 to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 254.

Mayweather originally bought the car for a reported $3.5 million in 2014.
