PHOENIX — A window manufacturing company has recently moved into its new headquarters near Phoenix’s Sky Harbor Airport.

But this isn’t your average headquarters: The space for Western Window Systems is complete with murals, pool tables, arcade games — and a 10-foot tall Lego sculpture.

According to the Phoenix Business Journal, the 170,000-square-foot building was designed by the Scottsdale-based architecture firm Ware Malcomb and Layton Construction was the contractor.

The new headquarters, which will house the company’s 300 employees, also has a Lego sculpture with 30,000 blocks, a mural and artwork by Phoenix artists Kory Miller and Tato Caraveo, a slide and British phone booths.

Scott Gates, the company’s CEO, told the publication that it wanted to provide a relaxing space for its employees in the new building.

“These kinds of workspaces are usually reserved for tech companies, not manufacturers. But we’re not just any manufacturer,” Gates said.

“We designed this space to give visitors a sense of who we are, and to give employees opportunities to wind down, stir their creative juices, and have fun.”

We want to hear from you.
