Foo Fighters will hit Phoenix on upcoming Concrete and Gold Tour

PHOENIX — Demand for the Foo fighters’ upcoming Concrete and Gold Tour was so high that the band added more shows and Phoenix made the cut.
The band was scheduled to play at Talking Stick Resort Arena in downtown Phoenix on Oct. 8.
Tickets will be available for the Phoenix show on Jan. 26 at 9 A.M. on Ticketmaster.com.
Other nearby shows include San Bernadino at the CalJam 18 festival Oct. 5 and 6 and in Denver on Oct. 10. for those who cant make the show in Phoenix.
“Concrete and Gold” went number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 list and also earned the number one spot on the Top Alternative Albums, Top Hard Rock Albums and Top Rock Albums charts in the U.S.
The Foo Fighters include Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shifelett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee.
The rock band began in 1994 and have experienced incredible success ever since. Four of its 10 albums have won Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album and the group has performed in front of President Barack Obama at the White House.
In 2012, the band won five of the six Grammys for which they were nominated, losing only to Adele in the Album of the Year category.
Grohl, a former drummer in the band Nirvana, was credited with starting the band after the passing of former Nirvana bandmate, Kurt Cobain.
Foo Fighters, like Nirvana, was started in Seattle.
