PHOENIX — A Phoenix man has been accused of kidnapping and sexually and physically assaulting four women since last month.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, 33-year-old Jonathan Rouzan of Laveen forced his victims to take off their clothes, burned them with meth pipes, beat them up and locked them in a closet.
Between Dec. 11 and Jan. 3, police said Rouzan committed four separate incidents with four separate female victims in Phoenix.
Court documents showed Rouzan invited an unidentified woman to his residence on Dec. 11 and soon became violent with her — forcing her to undress, blowing meth smoke in her face and burning her with the hot glass.
He then locked the victim in a room for several hours before moving her to another room, pushing her on the ground and kicking her. The victim then used a cell phone to call 911 and escaped through the garage once police arrived.
The second incident occurred between Dec. 18 and 20, when Rouzan allegedly kidnapped a young woman he had met earlier, drugged her, locked her inside a closet, repeatedly physically and sexually assaulted her, threatened to kill her and asked her to work for him as a prostitute.
The third incident occurred between Dec. 30 and 31, when Rouzan allegedly kidnapped a woman, forced her to strip naked, locked her in the closet and physically assaulted her when she did not comply with his requests.
Court documents showed that the last incident occurred on Jan. 3. An unidentified female victim told police she was walking to a bus stop in the area of 51st Avenue and Van Buren when she was struck with an unknown object shortly after hearing tires screeching, causing her to go unconscious.
The victim said her next memory was waking up in an unknown house, wearing only her bra and underwear. She said she was bleeding from her mouth and nose and had pain in the lower half of her body. Court documents said when she was leaving the house, she noticed a man staring and laughing at her but did not make any advances.
According to court documents, police said Rouzan made “erratic” statements during his interviews. During his initial court appearance, he told the judge he was being set up.
Rouzan is facing more than a dozen charges, including kidnapping, aggravated assault, sexual assault and administering a dangerous drug. He is being held without bond.
