PHOENIX — Thunderous beats from some of the best techno artists will be on display at the Phoenix Lights Festival in April.
The festival, which gets its name from supposed UFO activity in Phoenix, has found a new home at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler. The festival will be held at a custom-built venue that “provides the ability to expand and create the best possible” experience for fans.
Deejays will use three stages for EDM and house music at the Park, a venue situated adjacent to the Rawhide Event Center. The event is presented by Relentless Beats.
“Phoenix Lights has and continues to be an amazing event for us, each year growing bigger and better,” Relentless Beats founder Thomas Turner told OneEDM, an electronic dance music website.
“This growth has created the need to address our venue options so that we are providing a consistent foundation our fans can look forward to.”
In past years, the festival has held events at Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix.
Diplo, Gucci Mane and Martin Garrix will be among more than 25 artists that are expected to attend the two-day event on April 7-8. Tickets start at $119. VIP tickets are available and feature access to a special viewing deck and complimentary drinks.
