Tucson police locate 6-year-old boy shortly after issuing alert

PHOENIX — Well, that was quick.
Just minutes after the Tucson Police Department announced they were searching for a missing 6-year-old boy who was last seen Sunday afternoon, officials said they located the boy.
Sgt. Pete Dugan with the Tucson Police Department said officers had located Matthew Risch.

Matthew was last seen in the area of Drachman Street and 11th Avenue in Tucson around 2 p.m. on Sunday. Dugan said he was located around 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Dugan said Matthew was with “other family members and is thankfully OK.”
